The work of Patricia Mz. Lloreda, represents the combination of different artistic aspects, she combines sculpture, painting, architecture and interior design disciplines. Achieving at each of her creations an intense expression of the three-dimensional Art.
Her roots as an architect (Javeriana University/Bogota) were complemented by abiding desire for the experimentation. She have worked during four years in Rome at the restoration of the Classic Rome architecture with the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), three years as cultural aggregate of the Colombian Embassy of Mexico and two years at Parson School of Fashion Art and Deisgn in New York. In 1990 in Madrid, she started a pioneer schoool of applied arts, “Opera d’Arte”, an open space intensively active and in constant analysis, experimentation and artistic learning. In 1995 she moved to Barcelona, Spain where she continues her work at “Opera d’Arte” and with her personal projects.
